My husband and I were living 2,500 miles away from Pasadena when we decided to sell our condo. I initially called to interview Tony as our potential seller’s agent because I knew that he sold a lot of condos in the Pasadena area. While talking with Tony on the phone, I could see why he was a top-rated real estate agent in the area, and I knew that he was the right agent for selling our condo. Tony assured me that he would handle everything for us and that there was no need for us to fly back to Pasadena for anything. He went to see our place (while the renter was still living it in) to assess what work/repairs may need to be completed. After seeing our place, he suggested that we hire a staging company to furnish the main living areas (btw, the staging company did a terrific job making my 40+ year old condo look modern, attractive, and livable). Tony quickly scheduled the staging company, photographers, etc. for as soon as my renter moved out, allowing us to get it on the market very quickly. Tony volunteered to host three open houses (brokers open and a Saturday/Sunday open house) all within four days. He even rearranged his busy schedule to conduct the open houses a week before the Thanksgiving holiday weekend (to help allow for the most people to attend). Tony’s wide social media presence and extensive networking circle (real estate agents and potential buyers) helped bring in many potential buyers. By that Monday night, we received 10 written offers that were all substantially above our asking price. More realtors had customers who wanted to make offers but they were not submitted because their offers were lower than the already received lowest offer. Tony’s expertise of the local condo market, knowledge of our condo complex and the neighborhood, and familiarity with the specifics of my condo impressed not only me but also a few of my neighbors who dropped by to check out my condo’s open houses. They told me that they would like to have Tony sell their codo when it comes time for them to sell their condo. Tony worked diligently with our buyers, their agent, our condo management, title search, mortgage company, etc., and us to complete all the required steps (e.g., contract, inspection, bank appraisal, closing) to meet the very quick closing date (mid-December). Tony paid attention to every detail, tightly managed all due dates, changed his plans to accommodate others, etc. Any of the normal hiccups or potential problems during the listing, contract, and/or escrow process were handled without delay and seamlessly solved by Tony. His 20+ years of real estate experience helped him resolve any issues before they became a problem. Our condo complex’s property manager also commented to me about how easy it was to work with Tony on the required paperwork, providing documents, etc. Tony always had time for my phone calls, responded to my emails, texts, or calls immediately, kept me informed of his schedule (in case I needed to contact him), etc. – overall, terrific communication and customer service. In summary, I 100% recommend Tony Dowdy for all your real estate needs.

Tony was a pleasure to work with. We were relocating to Pasadena from New England, were unfamiliar with the area, and had a short amount of time to find a house. Tony was very patient, and knowledgeable and showed us many houses until we found the perfect house. When it was time to sell, we had no problem choosing Tony again as our listing agent. When I decided to put my home on the market I had planned to speak with several agents in Pasadena before choosing one. My first meeting was with Tony and he was very well prepared with an impressive presentation including comps and his marketing plan. After our meeting it was apparent to me there was no need to meet with anyone else as it was clear that based on his presentation and the details of his plan, I would not have found anyone better to sell my home.
